Here are my latest creations for Altered Magazine Faces Swap at ATCsForAll.com. This was fun. You take faces from magazines, glue them to card stock, paint them lightly with gesso and come up with an entirely new look.
This little bit of cyber space allows me to recount my attempts at painting, drawing, photography, collage, quilting, family or whatever suits my fancy.

What a great idea! That would give us "novice" face draw-ers (is THAT a word?)... an good way to practice! Thanks for sharing!

Nice work and great fun; and yes it does help "non-drawing" artists to open up the scope of their work. And also helps to learn how to draw faces.
ReplyDeleteI first came across these in Bernie Berlin's workshop book, but other artists also add collage elements to the art work. Can give some great results
