Love Letters Inspire Intimacy

This is my latest entry into my art journal. It is my intrepretation of the Intimacy challenge from Inspire me Thursdays. Love letters used to be the only way for long distance lovers to communicate. I still have packs of love letters from my husband when he was in the military.

  1. Wow, I think that this is my favorite of the group. What a well thought out concept and SO beautiful as well.

  4. This is charming...not a word i use a lot, but something about the way they are surrounded by blue space and yet connected does charm me...and what a wonderful treasure you have, packets of love letters!

  5. So true. I have photos of my father with shoe boxes full of letters from my mother when he was overseas. Something about the written word on paper... the permanence, the time in travel, it all adds to the weight and meaning of the words.

  7. what a great tribute to the long lost art of love letters! email, cell phones, and all this technology is so much more convenient, but it all certainly lacks the romance and intimacy of a handwritten letter!
