Sunflowers in Woodland
Ever since we moved to our new home, I've been fascinated by the fields upon fields of sunflowers that are grown in our area. Here are some photos I shot during a drive along the country roads near my home.
I used to not have an appreciation for sunflowers probably because of the big gangly stalks but now I just love their exuberance. They are like a little piece of the sun which is probably how they got their name. Thank you for sharing your photos of them.
I love reading comments so thank you for taking the time to leave one. I will respond by email if your profile includes an email address or if you leave your email address in the message. Have a wonderful day.
The gold of the sunflowers is absolutely stunning. I could imagine this as a material print maybe for a curtain by a well-let window!
ReplyDeleteyou are so lucky living near such beauty and I can tell that you appreciate it from your blog
